Caite le Chéile

The National Dramatic Association awarded me a Theatre Award Bursary in May 2004 for my newly written play Imithe le Gealaigh, a one-hour play with one woman speaking. I was awarded 1,500 euros, trophies and 500 euros to advise the producer. My newly written play Imithe le Gealaigh was staged in Díseart on the 29th / 30th of October 2004 as part of the Halloween Festival. We had a full house on two consecutive nights. The play was subsequently performed in the Feothanaigh, in Munster Fair, in Listowel and in the Granary in Cork as part of the 2005 University Festival. Imithe le Gealaigh was performed in Cork for the Oireachtas as part of Cork, European City of Culture 2005 in November 2005. Clonakilty 2006.
